Visit Amy’s Bread at the NYPL Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library

The New York Public Library has partnered with Amy’s Bread to bring visitors a spectacular new café location on the 7th floor of the newly renovated Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library. The Library Café by Amy’s Bread has outdoor seating on the only free, publicly accessible rooftop terrace in Midtown, and offers patrons the opportunity to enjoy a coffee & pastry or lunch and the incredible view of the NYPL’s historic Stephen A. Schwarzman Building, as well as views up and down Fifth Avenue.

Our menu features handmade pastries including scones, muffins, sticky buns, croissants, Danish, and biscuits. In the morning we offer a selection of breakfast sandwiches, bagels with spreads, Amy’s quiche,  plus rolls, and twists.   At lunch we have a wide variety of sandwiches made on Amy’s Bread, many of them grilled. Sweet treats include cookies, bars, cupcakes and slices of our delicious layer cakes.  Our offerings change seasonally.

We make excellent coffee, espresso beverages & cold brew and we offer a variety of cold beverages. Stop in for a treat after browsing for a book and enjoy this lovely spot in Midtown.
