The Pantry opened in August of 2015 and was the vision of Amy’s husband, Troy Rohne who wanted a small shop featuring local, handcrafted products made in Brooklyn, upstate NY and New England. "Everything is handmade at the Pantry and you can't find it anyplace else in this neighborhood," Amy says, noting the selection includes everything needed for "a fancy picnic." By collaborating with local vendors, Amy’s Bread continues its mission to support unique, small food businesses in the New York area…and occasionally, beyond.
Located next to the original Amy’s Bread cafe in Hell’s Kitchen, the Pantry is the place to go for local, artisanal products, donuts, bagels, Amy’s Bread specialties, sandwiches and an amazing 3rd wave coffee experience! No trip to the Pantry is complete until you have had a beautiful latte made by the Pantry’s talented baristas. Come early to get the best seat on 9th Avenue in the Pantry window or just stop in to take a walk back in time. Take in the antique fixtures in a building which dates to 1890 - the Pantry will take you to upstate NY without leaving NYC!
