Amy's Bread opened at the Library's landmark Stephen A. Schwarzman Building on Fifth Avenue and 42nd Street on Sept. 21, 2015. 

We offer a range of rotating treats to enjoy while in the library to view exhibitions, do research or other work, use the internet, and so on.  The menu includes sandwiches, salads, muffins, pastries, hot and cold drinks, and cookies - including a special lion cookies paying tribute to the Library's famous lions, Patience and Fortitude. 


Directions
By Subway
– C, 1, 2 or 3 train to the 42nd Street- Times Square station, exit on 42nd Street, walk east to 5th Avenue. Or take C, 1, 2, or 3 to 42nd St-Times Square station and transfer to the 7 train to the 5th Ave station.  Or take B or D train to the 5th Avenue station.

By Bus – Take the M1, M2, M3 or M4 bus down Fifth Avenue and get out at 42nd Street. Or take the M104 bus and get out at Fifth Ave.
