June 20, 2020 was our 28th Anniversary! Although we still don't have enough work for over half of our employees, those that are working now are celebrating with stenciled sourdough boules!
We are very fortunate to work in a bakery. Being surrounded by fresh-from-the-oven sweets and bread, while serving customers that are happily choosing their favorite treats, is a nice way to spend our days. But the best part of working at Amy’s Bread is the people: our loyal and talented staff. Running a bakery is a collaborative effort and we value the contribution of each individual - from the maintenance staff, bakers, sandwich makers, retail sales, drivers, to business office and management - each play an important role in our success.
When we first opened in 1992, we had no idea how long our employees would work with us or how much they would enjoy our congenial workplace. But over the years, many of the employees have become part of our “bakery family”, celebrating up to 27 years with us! We appreciate their commitment to work - putting their pride, love and attention to detail into everything they do.
